COVID-19 Event Update:   Effective Monday, November 30, 2020, Human Services’ lobby along with the OhioMeansJobs Union County lobby are open to the public BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.  Clients may call 937-644-1010 to schedule an appointment if requesting a face-to-face meeting. We are still encouraging clients to access our services from home. Instructions are available by by clicking this link.

The Food Assistance Program helps people with low income obtain nutritious food. Food assistance is issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture through Job and Family Services and are used to purchase specific food and grocery items at participating stores.

Eligibility, determined by the agency, is based on federal guidelines including income, resources and household size.

Food assistance benefits are issued on an Eppicc card to be used to purchase healthy food items.
