This is a 24/7/365 public safety environment. You will work nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime. You will deal with situations that are unpredictable and sometimes difficult.

As staffing and qualifications permit, deputies may pursue specialized assignments. These are not entry-level roles — they are earned through performance, training, and time on the job. But they are there.
