
The Citizen Self-Reporting System is available for you to use in non-emergency incidents. If a crime is in progress or if this is an emergency, dial 911.
To file a Citizen Self-Report Form online, the incident must have occurred within Union County and outside the City of Marysville, Richwood, or Plain City. If the incident occurred in one of those areas, you will need to file a report where the incident occurred.
You can use this online form to report the following:
-- Civil/Custody Issue
Custody issue or civil property dispute
-- Dog Complaint
Barking dog, stray dog-these will be forwarded to Union County Dog Warden. Note: These can occur anywhere in the county, including within city or village limits.
-- Identity Theft/Fraud/Scam
for documentation only with no known suspects or loss of money or property
-- Lost Property
Not including guns
-- Thefts with a total value under $1000

Once you have successfully submitted the Self-Report Form online, it will be reviewed as soon as possible. Once the report has been approved, you will receive an email with a copy of the official Union County Sheriff's Office report.
If you have insurance coverage, this form may assist you in filing a claim. Please note that you must include your full name and birthdate for the report to be officially filed. We will contact you if additional information is needed.
