Message for New Employees

We want to welcome you to the Union County Wellness Program! Several years ago, the Union County Commissioners adopted a Wellness Resolution which allows new employees, as well as new enrollees in the health insurance program, to receive the wellness incentive (aka discounted premium rates) upon enrollment into the health plan. This provision allows new employees and their families to start engaging in wellness activities and events sponsored by the County, with the goal of keeping them motivated to continue participating in this program on a  long-term basis. All newly hired employees, as well as new enrollees in the health insurance program, are strongly encouraged to read the Wellness Resolution in detail, so they know exactly how the wellness incentive applies to them and when they are no longer eligible for the reduced rates.
