What is the Union County TRIAD?     The TRIAD is three parts of the community working together to help reduce crime and increase safety of Seniors:    What is the  S.A.L.T. Council?        This is a volunteer group made up of Seniors, Law Enforcement and Members of the Community.  All are welcome to join the S.A.L.T. Council. Seniors and Law enforcement Together. |     What does the Union County Triad do?       ♦  EDUCATE:   by sponsoring crime prevention and public education for older adults.      ♦  ASSIST:   by recruiting and training volunteers to assist police departments, sheriff’s offices and other agencies.      ♦  SUPPORT:   by identifying community resources and providing referrals to older persons to help reduce fear and lend moral support.      ♦  UNITE:   by involving the older adult population, law enforcement, community agencies, and individuals to identify problem areas in their communities.   |
