Union County Council Of Governments

The Union Council of Governments (UCCOG), authorized under Ohio Revised Code Chapter 167, is an Ohio regional council of governments and political subdivision.

A regional council of governments is a type of public agency composed of local governments to facilitate cooperation, coordination, and planning among its members. These councils are created to address issues and challenges that require a collaborative approach, such as cooperative purchasing.

The UCCOG was formed in 2012 to lessen the burdens of its members by (a) developing and implementing certain sound business practices and processes as shared infrastructure and services to be made available to its members and (b) developing and operating as a collective purchasing and service organization to enable its members to obtain competitive terms from vendors and service providers by utilizing the combined purchasing power of all of its members.

We are proud to offer publicly procured, competitively solicited cooperative purchasing contracts that enable public agencies (including state agencies, local governments, and educational institutions) and other entities across the country to legally save time and money.
